Since its foundation in 1969, Torino Castello Lions Club tried to maintain Turin’s and Piedmont’s historical and cultural heritage.
For this specific purpose a wide range of activities have been conceived and promoted during these years, such as the issue of several texts, the staging of a few original comedies taken from the local literature, the reopening of the “Buco di Viso”; that is a tunnel, dating back to the Middle Ages, where the ancient “Salt road” passed through.
More recently the Club gave a relevant contribution in the promotion and implementation of the activities for the celebration of the battle of Turin third centenary.
